Project Overview
Masirah Island International (MII) is proud to be working in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth & Water Resources and Engineers House Engineering Consultancy on the maintenance, rehabilitation, and dredging of the Bukha Fishery Harbour in Musandam Governorate.
Key Project Elements
- Maintenance and Rehabilitation: MII is undertaking comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation works to upgrade the existing infrastructure and facilities at the Bukha Fishery Harbour. This includes repairs, renovations, and modernization to ensure the harbor operates safely and efficiently.
- Dredging: MII is performing dredging operations to deepen the harbor basin and approach channel. This will improve access for larger vessels and enhance the overall navigability of the harbor.
Project Outcomes
Upon completion, the Bukha Fishery Harbour project will revitalize the harbor, providing a modern and functional facility for local fishermen and supporting the growth of the fishing industry in Musandam Governorate. This project reaffirms MII's commitment to delivering high-quality marine infrastructure projects that contribute to the sustainable development of Oman's coastal communities.
